I think anyone who has the heart to volunteer for a job on their own time, expecting nothing in return, deserves some recognition. They definately deserve this holiday. I have volunteered at my uncles job before and it was hard knowing that your doing hard work and not getting payed for it. But it is a good feeling to help someone out of the goodness of your heart. I am very proud to say that I have volunteered before and I think everyone should feel that feeling sometime in their life.

I have a question, what’s a hero look like? Is he tan is he black, white? Nobody knows, he’s just a hero, wearing regular clothes. What does he look like, or what if he’s a she, and not a he at all. Let me begin by saying my hero is the one who goes by Charles Hamilton. He is a not so famous rapper coming up from Harlem, New York. He was raised around rap because his mother is a rapper. He has made a few songs including C FOOD, BROOKLYN GIRLS, HARLEM, and PRETTY BROWN EYES. I enjoy his music because he raps about life and staying healthy and getting with girls. He is my hero because he had a rough life but he is sticking it through and making the best of it.

There is one special animal that i would like to see in the wild.  This animal is a deer.  I have went into the wild many times looking for deer.  Unfortunately I have yet to see one.  I would like to see a deer because I am a big fan of hunting and I want to kill it.  If I find a deer, you viewers on edublogs.org will be the first to know

My favorite color in this world is brown.  There are many reasons as to why i am a fan of brown.  My favorite forms of the color brown are chocolate and chocolate milk.  I love chocolate milk.

I know this is not what any of you out there will like to hear but I think that earth hour is a complete waste of time. How is one hour without using electricity going to help the earth? The answer is that it will not help at all. My family and I recycle but that is about all we do because we know that’s the one thing that can make a difference. Doing things like trying to save electricity, carpooling to not use as much gas, and other such attempts at trying to help the earth makes no difference at all. Being “green” is not going to help anything so everyone needs to stop talking about it.

On my first day of school here at Thurston High I was very nervous, being at a new school and all. But when i walked into my second period class i was greeted by a big smile from Austin Parret, one of my few friends here. It made second period a lot easier and he introduced me to new people in the class that I didn’t know before. It was a small slice of life but it made this class much better for me.

This podcast made me want to read this story! It did a very well job of making the story look really exciting. They also put background music that matched perfectly with the way they depicted the story. What they did was took the dialogue from the story and spoke it the way it would have taken place. It was like a preview for a movie that you’d watch at the movie theater. Just from listening to the podcast i learned what the story is about. It is about a guy in high school that is accused of murder and sent to jail. While he is in jail he is on trial and by the end of the book he is either guilty or non guilty.
